Strategic Sales Director
As part of a team of business development professionals, reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Strategic Sales Director is responsible for the sales lifecycle of designated accounts, interfacing directly with senior level management of commercial lenders including banks, finance companies and credit card issuers. This critical position will have influence over many aspects of the company’s future products and market development.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Creating and implementing sales plans for the target markets/customers
  • Identify key decision makers and cultivate high-level relationships with senior executives
  • Gain the trust of senior-level executives to uncover business issues and quantify their impact on the organization
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to:
  • Identify and create dialog with senior level management at prospects
  • Identify and quantify main business issues working with contacts
  • Develop value propositions that solve prospect’s business issues
  • Develop a buying "vision" for senior management
  • Interface with technical and analytical people to deliver solutions
  • Create and make presentations to small groups
  • Work closely with others in Sales, Marketing and Product Development to influence features, specifications, and pricing.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 8+ years sales/business development experience in the financial services industry, preferably in the small business commercial lending market
  • Demonstrated success with consultative selling approach and account development at the "C" level
  • A track record of success in over-achieving goals
  • Excellent communication (written and presentation) skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise messages in a professional manner
  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • A self-starting, team-oriented, and innovative attitude focused on routinely delivering high quality results
  • Administrative effectiveness in tracking prospects, follow-up on calls and recording prospect contact info and interactions.
  • Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, sales contact management applications (e.g., ACT, Salesforce.com, etc)
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred

Developer/Analyst
We are looking for a Software Developer/Data Analyst to assist in application design and support in addition to handling ongoing data analysis projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with end-users to gather requirements and design changes for new and existing applications
  • Support internal and external requirements for data mining/data set projects
  • Generate appropriate documentation, build test cases, and execute test plans
  • Provide related documentation and training, and coordinate/communicate project plans and activities with other members of the team

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases; experience with data warehousing and large databases is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as planning and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience in development languages such as.NET and Perl is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Works independently and with others; self-directed and results-oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics or other related field
  • US citizen or permanent resident living in the Chicago area; relocation assistance is not provided
