National Account Manager, Banking

Position Overview:

The National Account Manager of Banking will play a key role in further developing PayNet’s market share in the United States Commercial Banking Industry. The objective is to achieve sales goals by growing sales of PayNet AbsolutePD® with regional commercial banks.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Networking, prospecting, and cold calling
  • Identify key decision makers and cultivate relationships with senior executives
  • Ability to explain and sell complex products/services
  • Exceptional follow up skills and commitment
  • Create and make product presentations to small groups
  • Planning for next steps in the sales cycle
  • Up-selling any additional strategic products/services
  • Negotiating prices, features, and specifications
  • Presenting contracts at the appropriate time
  • Closing each level with the sales cycle, based on the strategic plan
  • Maintain and manage pipeline using the company CRM system
  • Monitoring frequency usage by the customer

Candidate Requirements:

  • 5+ years sales/business development experience in non-retail, non-mortgage products
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated success with consultative selling approach and account development at the “C” level
  • Experience in managing major accounts within the Banking industry
  • Excellent communication (written and presentation) skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise messages and presentations in a professional manner
  • The ability to thrive in high pressure, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Track record of success in over-achieving goals, building relationships, and running major projects
  • A self-starting, team-oriented, and innovative attitude focused on consistently delivering high quality results
  • The ability to contribute and foster creative ideas
  • Administrative effectiveness in tracking prospects, follow-up on calls, and recording prospect contact information and interactions
  • Computer skills: must be adept in use of MS Office 2007, particularly Excel and Word, sales contact management applications (e.g., ACT, Salesforce.com, etc).

Travel

Travel is estimated to be 50 percent time and will be required to conduct the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Compensation

Commensurate with the responsibilities and duties described above, the competitive compensation package includes unlimited commissions subject to achievement of company goals and agreed upon objectives. Database Administrator

Position Overview:

The Database Administrator will maintain SQL Server databases, work with software developers and other technology resources on defining product requirements and specifications, and be the primary individual responsible for the overall design, implementation, and management of the SQL Server environment.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform installation, configuration, and memory management on new and existing instances
  • Create logical data models and implement physical designs
  • Assist with developing technical requirements, specifications, and project planning
  • Resolve performance, capacity, and distributed data issues
  • Define backup, recovery, and archiving strategies; create and monitor backup processes
  • Monitor database systems for availability, security, and performance
  • Develop and document database management policies, procedures, standards
  • Evaluate and recommend new database technologies
  • Establish strong working relationships within all functions across the technology area and those in other departments, such as analytics and sales, as appropriate
  • Educate and mentor the technical and business community as necessary

Required Experience, Skills, & Competencies:

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server logical and physical database modeling concepts and techniques
  • SQL Server Administration tasks including backups, data recovery, replication and log shipping
  • Experience with SQL Server database performance metrics, monitoring tools, maintenance procedures, and database security concepts
  • Strong SQL programming skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Sound planning and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities
  • Flexibility in providing off-hours support when necessary
  • Work independently and with others; self-directed and results-oriented
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills
  • US citizen or permanent resident living in the Chicago area; relocation assistance is not provided

Preferred Experience, Skills, & Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of DTS/SSIS packages or other ETL development
  • Knowledge of Data Mining / Business Intelligence methodologies and tools
  • Experience utilizing Storage Area Networks and other storage systems
  • Experience with large databases requiring 24x7 uptime
  • Understanding of leasing, consumer/commercial finance
