Alan Matsumura is a founding Partner and member of the executive team of Sagence Group. He also founded Diamond Technology Partners. Beside his role as a PayNet board member, he acts as an important technical advisor to the company.

Mr. Matsumura has more than 30 years of IT experience, with particular focus on enterprise architectures, databases, and data analysis. He has extensive experience designing technical architecture strategies for market-leading firms. Mr. Matsumura has architected, designed, and developed a large number of business intelligence systems and marketing databases and has worked in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, insurance, consumer products and services, retail, and healthcare.

Mr. Matsumura was a Partner in the Enterprise Practice and was previously a Senior Principal with Technology Solutions Company.

Dan Michalek, a PayNet, Inc. Founder, brings extensive “start up” experience to PayNet by being closely involved in new ventures with Fortune 100 companies as well as starting several privately held businesses. Mr. Michalek recently founded OpenMarkets, LLC and is currently President & CEO. OpenMarkets is the first purchasing platform of its kind to offer healthcare providers targeted group buys of medical equipment based on the aggregation of their common buying interests. Using proprietary technology, OpenMarkets aggregates the common buying interests of medical equipment buyers in an open market environment leveraging their combined purchasing power to facilitate superior pricing on behalf of its clients. Dan directs the company’s strategic direction, business development and marketing efforts.

Prior to joining PayNet, Inc. as its first chairman, Dan was President of Connor Capital, a division of LINC Capital Inc., which he founded in 1994, and which LINC acquired in 1999. Connor Capital specialized in the formation of captive finance companies for equipment manufacturers and distributors. From 1988 to 1994, Mr. Michalek worked for American Express, where he was Director of National Accounts and was instrumental in the launch of MoneyGram, a worldwide money transfer service. Prior to 1988, Michalek was employed by Citicorp where he led a successful start-up in Citicorp’s Payment Products division. Mr. Michalek is also on the Board of Directors for Quality Control Corporation, a family owned manufacturing company.

In 1999, Mr. Michalek was nominated for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He earned a BBA in Marketing from Texas Christian University.
